«Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”» – Matthew 19:21
Eremitorium sponsors the Holy Spirit's mission of the eremitic and monastic life: to be God's alone... to be separated from the world in order to be solely dedicated to God... to be consecrated only for Him and, living only in Him, serve thus —as the heart— for the whole of humanity.
Therefore, in order to preserve and contribute to the continual flourishing of this most ancient, most especial, and most lofty vocation within the Church, Eremitorium embraces and promotes this contemplative state of life:
–firstly, among concrete individuals, chosen (cf. Matthew 22:14) members of the body of Christ, who have been called to give to God this total donation of self with a generous renouncement of the world… to be the hidden heart of the body for the sake of the Kingdom and the good of humankind;
–secondly, among all the rest of the members of the body of Christ of any state, walk, and way of life, so that they too, wherever they are, can nourish and cultivate the inner hermitage of their soul —that innermost sanctuary where God dwells, resides, and lives... their heart—.
Concretely, with the first chosen members of the body, Eremitorium sustains their actual contemplative state of life; while with the second, Eremitorium fosters their inner contemplative life of the soul. So that Eremitorium in doing so, all parts of the body —heart and members—, habitually and intimately, can remain always in the living sap of the Divine Vine (cf. John 15:1) —the Head—, and, thus, accomplish in all holiness their God-given mission and particular vocation in life... bearing abundant fruit (cf. John 15:5), a hundredfold (cf. Matthew 13:8)!
